First I never wanted to review this movie.,specially a negative review,because I loved David Fincher as a Director after watching his movieslike "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". But over hyped criticreviews and too much award recognition gave me a reason to write areview about this.

After watching this movie I didn't feel bad but I felt like I just sawthe best commercial of the year..That doesn't mean this is the Bestmovie of the year or anything. Anyway this movie has good cast withsome good acting and directing but I just don't care how great is thecast,screenplay or directing because this movie is a commercial of theFacebook.But the only difference is, this time we are paying to watch acommercial called The Social Network.

Marketing specialists might be seriously looking in to this strategy innear future because this strategy is working.Lots people might bepaying to see commercials in the future so companies can earn insteadof spending millions for their expensive commercials as long as thereare some dumb people to watch..When we talking about dumb people don'tyou feel surprise how every time Twlight becoming the best movie in"Peoples Choice Awards" ??? Anyway this isn't about Twilight.I hope uunderstand what I mean..

So now you probably asking me "hay where is your Social network moviereview?" All I have to say if you enjoy watching commercials go see it.but I cant tell you this commercial is better than a Victoria's Secretcommercial or not. By the way this movie also advertise Victoria'sSecret too. So every time someone watching this movie they are watchingthe the best Fackbook commercial ever made.But this time MarkZuckerberg won't have to spend any money for it.

I'd like to give this at least an 8.5. Maybe one day IMDb willimplement a system that allows decimals. Oh well.

Honestly I thought this movie would be underwhelming just because manyof us know the gist of the story. I underestimated the creators andactors because this was a very well done film all around.

I'm all about court room dramas and internet culture separately andit's all blended well here. The actors are all pretty much unknown tome but I enjoyed just about everyone and no one was cliché ordistracting. All were believable. The movie is never boring either so Iappreciated the deliberate and consistent pace. Going back and forthfrom the evolution of the site to the law suits was done perfectly.

I'm not really sure why I really liked but didn't love it. There'svirtually nothing wrong with it. Maybe it's just because Facebook issuch a part of our culture nowadays that it seemed old hat before iteven began. Not sure, but the movie succeeds on all fronts in myopinion.

Some people here don't seem to understand that this is based on reallife. If the characters seem cold or boring to you that's just becausetheir portrayals are based on people that exhibited that kind ofpersonality. It's not about what you "want" out of a story, they'rejust showing you how past events unfolded. I don't want it twisted intoa story that's only about two friends who split apart or something, Ijust want to hear the story as it is. So many reviews ask why it wasn'tabout this or that. The answer is because it's about what happened, notwhat you want to see. I thought this was obvious but apparently not.

OK, so I went into this movie thinking it was going to be some boringand self serving expose on some super-nerd's rise to top of the techbubble. I thought for sure this film would either demonize him, orthem, or everyone. Instead what we got looked like a pretty decent andrealistic account of how this deal went down. No one was demonized …well except for maybe Sean Parker of Napster infamy. Every side wasrepresented fairly via their own perceptions. The dialogue wasfast-paced – sometimes hard to follow. Zuckerberg was played flawlesslywith lightspeed razor sharp quips that left recipients in shock andawe. I went in thinking I would be bored out of my mind. I leftcompletely satisfied that I had ridden that crazy train of Facebook tothe top. And what a fun (and bumpy) ride it was. Two thumbs up!
