Like "Memento" completely overrated plot wise: like it's brilliant andstuff and all kinds of explanations and dimensions outlined by thefans. It's just about a man who's torn up by the suicide of his wife,searching his own mind for his responsibility in all this to findforgiveness and carry on with his live. The whole movie until the partwhere he wakes up in the plane is just a reflection of his chaotic anddesperate mind dealing with the loss of his wife. And all thedream-layers and stuff is complete and utter nonsense to make a cooland fun movie. Just a lesser serious "Shutter Island".

"The Prestige" is still Christopher Nolan's best work according to me,doesn't mean Inception wasn't a good movie, but certainly not in thetop 10 of all time best movies.

Wake up people.

Oké raised the score from 7 to 8, just seen it again, still think thewhole dream-sharing-creating idea is full of crap, nothing geniushere... but cool and fun as stated before.

A brain-twister to be sure. But the fact that the plot demandsattention only adds to the exhilaration. This is a story about dreamsthat requires the audience to stay awake.The action set pieces aredeliriously spectacular; one involving a gravity-impaired Gordon-Levittin an ever-rotating hallway is wondrous to behold.

The movie of the year! You need to watch it, over and over again...

Smart, fun, thrilling, and provokes you to think. I have seen thesocial network and the kings speech. Both movies are great, but neitherare as original as this. I recommend this movie for anyone. So manypeople have said its too confusing, but its really not. If you areaccustomed to mindless movies then it might be. I think thatChristopher Nolan is a visionary. He is a great director. For somestrange reason, the Academy has a tendency to ignore him. His work oninception was amazing. What does he have to do to get a nomination?.There is a great ensemble of a cast. This is one movie by Mr Nolan that forces us to think , this movieshows his unique ability to think on one of the most avoided conceptsof dreams , let me get it this way , Christopher Nolan is so far themost intellectual film director of this decade . I think this will be the one of the best movie of the decade,OKcentury.This is the best film i have seen in my whole life till now.Itcontains all elements of a movie should have.It has everything youwant.Many of them claim that avatar is the best film.Avatar is justsome kind of animation 3D movie.Nothing special in this movie.I have noidea anything about inception i have not seen anytrailers(honestly).After watching i was thrilled.This movie will win inmany awards in many categories.Leonardo DiCaprio best film after "Thedeparted".I m going with 10/10.If anyone like sci-fi films The matrixtrilogy,dark city,eternal sunshine of the spotless mind then pleasedon't miss this.

There really isn't much to say about Inception that hasn't been saidalready. By now, its very well known and considered a really greatpiece of art (to many a masterpiece). Inception is a very well written,yet confusing action-thriller concerning reality and dreams. Beforewatching the film, I had some high expectations but also some ratherlower expectations. I've read many positive reviews, and negativereviews, so I finally decided to watch the film. And I was very pleaseand my expectations were met.

In detail, director Christopher Nolan throws a perfect storm of stunts,effects, locations and actors at one big idea: that it's possible topilfer ideas from dreams by a process called 'extraction', whichinvolves hooking yourself up to a drip, falling asleep and entering theworld of the subconscious. The holy grail of this process is to reverseit, which is 'inception', the planting of a new idea in another's mind.That's the trick that experts Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Arthur(Joseph Gordon Levitt), aided by new recruits Ariadne (Ellen Page) andEames (Tom Hardy), try to pull off while hopping from Tokyo to Paris toMombasa. They're working for Saito (Ken Watanabe) in pursuit ofbusiness magnate Robert (Cillian Murphy), and their motives vary, fromfinancial to intellectual. But DiCaprio has another driver: the memoryof his wife Mal (Marion Cottilard) is haunting him and it's going totake a lot of psychological spring-cleaning for him to reconnect withthat lost world. Overall, Inception is a very well made thriller andshould please many for different various reasons.
